Noorhan AlZan
Chairperson
Noorhan is the Chairperson of QODWA which she conceptualized in 2018 and is a Director on the board of the CFA Society Bahrain. Prior to being elected on the board, Noorhan has been an active volunteer running the Research Challenge and Programs Committee since 2014.
She has over 12 years of experience in banking and financial services, is a practicing Performance and Career Development Coach and Speaker with over 200 hours of lecturing and coaching hours covering both technical and soft skills. Her most recent engagements were in the USA, India, and Poland.
Additionally, she is a CFA Charterholder, Chartered Insurer, Fellow of the Chartered Insititute of Insurance, Certified in Islamic Finance (CDIF), and holds a BSc (with honors) in Business Information Systems. She is the first lady in the Middle East to complete the CertBALM qualification from the UK focused on Asset Liability Management.
Shaima Abdulrazaq
Deputy Chairperson
Shaima A. Razaq is the deputy chairperson of Qodwa since 2020 and has been managing the mentor/mentee relationships among the program since then.
Shaima is working in the Operations department at one of the largest regional banks in Bahrain and Holds a bachelor's degree in Banking & Finance from University of Bahrain and a professional diploma in Accounting.
Shaima is currently pursuing the CFA designation.


Latifa Sowaileh
Deputy Chairperson and Podcast Host
Latifa is the Deputy Chairperson of Qodwa Committee in CFA Society Bahrain and the Podcast Host of "Your Virtual Mentor", Qodwa's very own podcast, which hosts one-on-one meaningful conversations with leading professionals in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Latifa has 3 years of experience within banking, investments, and community engagement. She currently works at a semi-public initiative - Hope Ventures with the mission of boosting and empowering Bahraini youths in the entrepreneurial ecosystem within the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Latifa enjoys reading and running in her free time and has a passion for personal and career development.
Nasreen Mohamed
Relationship Manager
Nasreen Mohamed recently joined Qodwa as a Relationship Manager, with a key mandate of expanding Qodwa’s reach and partnerships.
She is a Senior Credit Analyst at a leading multinational corporate and investment bank, with over 8 years' of experience within the industry.
Nasreen holds a BA in Economics and is now keen to specialize within the field of sustainability and ESG.
She is also an avid boxing enthusiast, and works with the Bahrain Boxing Federation to support and increase visibility of local female boxers in the sport.


Hiba Naval
Relationship Manager
Hiba Naval is one of the Relationship Managers of QODWA and coordinates activities set out by the program, organizing training sessions and liaising between the stakeholders. She initially joined the program as a mentee for Round 3.
Hiba is a recent graduate from Newcastle University with a degree in Economics and Finance and is currently working towards attaining the CFA Qualification. Her interest lies within Banking and Finance, particularly on the investments front. She strives to make meaningful connections and does not hesitate to challenge herself.
Mariam Al Shehabi
Social Media Manager
Mariam Al Shehabi is a high school senior student at Abdulrahman Kanoo International School.
She has a passion for learning, volunteering, and creating. She is the founder of Iqra’, an initiative that aims to make reading and learning an inclusive experience for individuals of all backgrounds. Her flair for creative expression has also led to her building extensive photography, videography, and social media management portfolio.
In her free time, Mariam enjoys making music and happens to play 5 different instruments!
